Hello World!

Hello World!

It's cold and wet outside. I've got nothing better to do with my self-isolation than to start a new blog. That pursuit requires an inventory of my skill set. First rule, when in doubt, write about what you know. Social media has been a favorite of mine for a long time. Each platform forms it's own palette but it's important to stay focused on the message.

I was a stroke survivor trying my hand at a work program until COVID-19 showed up. It was my first lick of work since my stroke almost twenty years ago. I liked it a lot. It was a good experience, meeting new people, learning new things and few things bolster one's self-confidence more than gainful employment. However, all things end.

Accepting the truth of that which I cannot change keeps my blood pressure numbers down, but I don't think it's fair. Like I said, it took me almost twenty years to get back to get back to the workforce after I had my stroke. I had a taste of employment, and I liked it. Now I have been deprived of the warm and fuzzy goodness of a paycheck.

So, I need something to do with my time.
